Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Company Secretary (CS) Fresher to join our Corporate & Compliance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build a strong foundation in corporate secretarial practice, legal compliance, governance, and global regulatory matters while working alongside experienced lawyers and compliance professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal and regulatory research on corporate laws and allied legislations.
- Prepare and monitor compliance calendars to ensure timely statutory filings.
- Assist in due diligence, compliance audits, and governance-related assignments.
- Support global compliance projects involving regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
- Assist in corporate secretarial compliances under the Companies Act, 2013 and applicable rules.
- Prepare Board Meeting Notices, Agenda, Minutes, Board Resolutions, and other secretarial documents.
- Assist in filing statutory forms and returns with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA).
- Maintain statutory registers, corporate records, and compliance documentation.
- Support company incorporation, LLP incorporation, and other corporate restructuring assignments.
- Assist in drafting legal and corporate documents, agreements, and correspondence.
- Coordinate with clients, regulatory authorities, and international associates regarding compliance matters.
- Perform other legal and compliance-related assignments as required.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Qualified Company Secretary (CS) or CS Executive/Professional candidate (as applicable).
- Strong academic background in Corporate Laws and Secretarial Practice.
Desired Skills:
- Basic knowledge of Companies Act, 2013
- Understanding of MCA filings & compliance
- Drafting and documentation abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT)
- Excellent verbal & written communication
- Analytical & research skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines & multi-task
